The Strategy Manager / Senior Strategy Manager plays a critical role in developing communication strategies, messaging frameworks, audience insights, and influencer plans that power effective influencer
marketing campaigns.
This role sits at the core of strategic development — translating business challenges into insight-led strategies, identifying the right creators for the right audiences, and shaping how brands show up across social platforms. While this role carries fewer formal people management responsibilities than a Strategy Director, it requires a similar level of strategic thinking, influence, and ownership across key accounts and campaigns.
You will work closely with Creative, Client Success, and Talent teams to ensure every campaign is grounded in strong human insight, clear communication direction, and smart platform and influencer choices that drive real results.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development & Campaign Planning
- Lead the development of communication strategies for influencer marketing campaigns and always-on programs.
- Translate client briefs and business objectives into clear, insight-driven strategic directions.
- Develop strategic frameworks that guide creative development, content direction, and influencer selection.
- Ensure campaigns are rooted in strong audience understanding and relevant cultural context.
- Insighting & Audience Understanding
- Conduct deep dives into audience behavior, social conversations, and cultural trends.
- Turn research, data, and social listening into actionable insights that inform messaging and creative direction.
- Identify key tensions, motivations, and behavioral triggers that campaigns can tap into.
- Support the development of strategic narratives that anchor campaign ideas.
- Influencer & Creator Strategy
- Identify and recommend the right influencers for specific target audiences, campaign objectives, and brand roles.
- Work closely with Talent teams to ensure creator selection is insight-led, culturally relevant, and strategically aligned.
- Evaluate influencers based on audience profile, credibility, content style, engagement quality, and community influence.
- Help define the role of different creator types (macro, micro, niche, community-led) within campaign ecosystems.
- Ensure influencer choices strengthen authenticity, message delivery, and audience connection.
- Communications Strategy & Messaging
- Develop messaging territories, communication frameworks, and content directions tailored for influencer-led storytelling.
- Ensure brand voice and key messages are translated clearly across creators, platforms, and formats.
- Partner with Creative teams to ensure ideas are grounded in strategy and aligned to campaign objectives.
- Social & Platform Strategy
- Build channel strategies that maximize the strengths of each platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels).
- Define the role of each platform in the campaign ecosystem and how they work together.
- Provide guidance on content formats, creator types, and platform-native storytelling approaches.
- Stay updated on platform shifts, algorithm changes, and evolving content behaviors.
- Client Engagement & Strategic Influence
- Present strategic thinking and campaign direction to clients with clarity and confidence.
- Act as a key strategic partner to Client Success teams in shaping proposals and recommendations.
- Provide POVs on trends, culture, audience behavior, and influencer landscapes.
- Build credibility with clients through strong thinking, insight quality, and clarity of communication.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Creative, Client Success, Talent, and Implementation teams to ensure strategic alignment from planning to execution.
- Help ensure strategies are realistic, executable, and aligned with campaign goals and KPIs.
- Support the Strategy Director in strengthening processes, frameworks, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- 6–10 years of experience in strategy, communications planning, digital strategy, brand planning, or influencer marketing within advertising, digital, or social agencies.
- Strong experience developing communication strategies and campaign platforms for social and influencer-led work.
- Proven experience identifying and mapping influencers for specific audiences and campaign objectives.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms, including platform behaviors and content formats.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and actionable strategies.
- Experience working on multiple campaigns simultaneously and owning strategy development from brief to execution.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams even without formal authority.
- Strong curiosity about culture, digital behavior, and how creators shape communities and brand perceptions.
