The Accounts Payable Associate supports the timely and accurate processing of immediate payment requests through the Payment Portal. Focuses on transaction execution, data accuracy, and SLA compliance to ensure smooth campaign and vendor payment operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Processing & Disbursement
  • Accurately review and process immediate and scheduled payment requests from Live Sellers.
  • Ensure payments are disbursed within defined SLAs to maintain campaign timelines.
  • Prioritize high-volume or time-sensitive payments to prevent delays.
2. Payment Portal Management
  • Monitor incoming payment requests in the Payment Portal for completeness and accuracy.
  • Validate documentation and payment details before approval and disbursement.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate internally to resolve them promptly.
3. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Maintain proper documentation for all payment transactions to support audits.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and organizational policies.
  • Flag potential payment errors or risks to prevent financial or operational issues.
4. Operational Excellence
  • Track payment volumes, processing times, and SLA performance metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support digital initiatives to automate workflows and reduce manual effort.
Key Results Areas
  • ≥ 95–98% SLA adherence for Live Seller payments
  • Minimal payment errors or exceptions
  • Timely resolution of discrepancies or bottlenecks
  • Complete and accurate audit documentation
  • Documented process improvements implemented
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or high-volume transactional finance operations
  • Prior experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Knowledge of government regulations and tax requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
