The Creative Director leads the creative vision of the agency, setting the standard for groundbreaking, culturally defining influencer marketing work that elevates the discipline as a core and indispensable part of the modern marketing mix.

This role exists to push the boundaries of what influencer marketing can achieve — moving beyond content and campaigns into brand-building, culture-shaping, and business-driving creative solutions. The Creative Director ensures the agency produces bold, innovative, and strategically sound work that strengthens client trust, attracts top creators, and positions the agency as a leader in the industry.

You will champion creative excellence across all outputs, inspire teams to think bigger, and transform insights, trends, and creator culture into ideas that brands cannot achieve through traditional channels alone

Key Responsibilities
  • Creative Vision & Leadership
    • Define and drive the overall creative direction of the agency across campaigns, pitches, and long-term brand partnerships.
    • Champion breakthrough, culture-shaping work that demonstrates the power of influencer marketing as a primary marketing channel.
    • Set creative standards, frameworks, and principles that elevate the quality and originality of all outputs.
    • Lead the development of big, platform-native ideas that merge brand storytelling with creator authenticity and cultural relevance.
    • Push teams to move beyond executional thinking into innovative, insight-led, and award-worthy work.
  • Innovation & Industry Leadership
    • Identify new creative territories, formats, and storytelling approaches that position the agency at the forefront of influencer marketing.
    • Drive experimentation with emerging platforms, AI tools, and evolving creator behaviors.
    • Translate cultural, digital, and platform shifts into scalable creative opportunities for clients.
    • Advocate for influencer marketing as a strategic, business-driving channel in client engagements and industry conversations.
  • Creative Oversight & Craft Excellence
    • Oversee the creative quality of all major campaigns, pitches, and key accounts from concept to execution.
    • Ensure ideas are both culturally resonant and strategically aligned with client objectives and KPIs.
    • Guide ACDs and Creative Managers in shaping raw concepts into powerful, insight-driven creative platforms.
    • Maintain a high bar for storytelling, design, content structure, and platform-native execution.
  • Client Partnership & Thought Leadership
    • Serve as a senior creative voice in high-level client engagements, presentations, and pitches.
    • Partner with Strategy and Client Success leads to develop compelling, insight-led creative solutions to client challenges.
    • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders as a trusted advisor on social culture, creators, and digital storytelling.
    • Help clients reframe how they view influencer marketing — from a support channel to a core brand-building investment.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of ACDs, Creative Managers, writers, and designers.
    • Foster a culture of creative bravery, curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning.
    • Develop the next generation of creative leaders within the agency.
    • Promote collaboration across Strategy, Insights, Talent, and Production to ensure ideas are both innovative and executable.
  • Culture, Trends & Platform Mastery
    • Maintain deep awareness of cultural movements, internet behavior, creator trends, and platform evolution.
    • Inspire teams by translating trends into meaningful creative opportunities rather than surface-level executions.
    • Ensure the agency consistently produces work that feels native, timely, and culturally relevant.

Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in advertising, digital, social, or influencer marketing, with significant time in senior creative leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading breakthrough campaigns and building strong creative teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing culturally relevant, social-first, or influencer-driven work.
  • Experience working closely with creators, talent, and content ecosystems across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong background in copywriting, art direction, or integrated creative leadership; hybrid creatives are highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead pitches and present creative work to senior client stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of social behavior, platform dynamics, and creator culture.
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale projects and guiding teams from insight to execution.
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire, challenge, and elevate teams.
